Why Join APHP?

There are many professional organisations for Hypnotherapists, though none of them have any ‘official’ standing as far as government is concerned, though many will seek to give that impression. APHP was established as a non-profit association in 1999 and to this day every penny of the membership fees goes to the running of the organisation and flying in top presenters from abroad to speak at our annual conference. No expenses or other charges are taken from the organisation and the board of management provide their services free of charge.

Benefits are:

  • Dedicated fast website on the first page of most search engines
  • Membership fee includes up to three free entries on the APHP register
  • Access to your entries so you can update everything immediately

As a member of UKCHO (UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations) APHP was instrumental in the introduction of the Core Curriculum for Hypnotherapy Training Schools as well as the latest revisions to the National Occupation Standards for Hypnotherapy. You are allowed to bring any of this to the attention of the public on your promotional material, thus illustrating that your training was at the highest level and that you are therefore a properly competent and registered therapist.

In short, when you join APHP you are becoming a member of a totally professional organisation that has been and still is a formative influence in the world of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.
