Upon graduating from the American University of Sharjah with a Bachelor's of Arts in Mass Communications, I was still hungry for knowledge. I would sit and observe people’s behaviours and thought processes. I was curious to understand how the human mind works and why people react differently to the same stimulus. I always asked myself why it was, more often than not, so difficult to change our habits. After reading many books and analysing research studies about psychology and the human mind, I decided to look for a rather unconventional type of therapy.

Reading the works of Sigmund Freud had me wondering if there are ways through which we can directly access the subconscious mind without having to go through the filter of the conscious mind and clinical hypnotherapy was the answer. It proves how our mind is an extremely powerful tool. I then developed an interest in being able to address fallacies in our conscious mind; I wanted to be able to speak to the conscious mind eloquently. That’s why I studied cognitive behavioural therapy too.

I further expanded my expertise by studying energy healing through reiki and becoming a therapeutic art life coach. This was the gateway for me to learn more about the power of affirmations and how they can affect our 3D reality. Now, it almost feels like my mission to spread this knowledge and help people realise that they can easily attract anything and anyone they want into their life.

I authored a book called ‘Disappear’ in 2020. The young-adult novel is based on a true story where the author narrates the life events of Rose, who was ghosted by the love of her life. The readers get to live inside the main character’s mind who is going through the different stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. The narrative shows how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are linked. The way we think affects the way we feel and the actions we take.
