I’m an integrative psychotherapist working with high-achieving adults who often hold everything together for others yet feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected. I combine BWRT, somatic approaches and compassionate talking therapy to uncover and change deeper patterns for meaningful, lasting change.

You may be someone who appears capable and successful on the outside, yet privately feels overwhelmed, disconnected or never quite good enough. Perhaps you overthink everything, take responsibility for everyone around you, struggle to rest without guilt or find yourself repeating patterns you understand intellectually but still cannot seem to change.

Many of the people I work with are high-achieving adults who have become very skilled at coping. They may be dependable, thoughtful and highly self-aware, but beneath that competence can sit anxiety, self-criticism, shame, emotional exhaustion or a sense of having lost connection with themselves. Therapy offers a space where you no longer have to hold everything together.

I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw upon compassionate talking therapy, BWRT, hypnotherapy and somatic approaches, adapting the work to you and what you need. Together, we can explore not only what is happening in your thoughts, but also the deeper emotional, protective and nervous-system patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

My approach is warm, grounded and non-judgemental, but it is also purposeful. I will support you with compassion while helping you look beneath familiar coping strategies and create change that can be felt in everyday life, not simply understood in the therapy room.

You do not need to be in crisis or have everything clearly worked out before beginning. You may simply know that the way you have been managing no longer feels sustainable, and that you are ready to relate to yourself and your life differently.

Additional Information

Starting therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you are used to managing things alone or are unsure how to explain what is happening. You do not need to have the right words or know which therapeutic approach you need. We can begin with a conversation about what has brought you here, what you would like to change and whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

Our work will move at a pace that feels manageable, and you will never be expected to share more than you feel ready to explore. Some approaches, including BWRT, can also be used without discussing every detail of a difficult experience.

If you are unsure whether my approach is suitable for you, you are welcome to get in touch before booking.

Other Areas

I support adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, overthinking, perfectionism, low self-worth, shame, guilt and emotional disconnection. I also work with difficulties involving boundaries, people-pleasing, over-responsibility, trust, rejection, relationships, phobias, past experiences and patterns that continue to repeat despite insight or previous attempts to change.

Training, Qualifications and Experience

My training began in 2012 with qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Stress Management. I later completed advanced training in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, followed by specialist training in BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT) and Embodiment Coaching.

Since qualifying, I have continued to develop my practice through advanced and continuing professional development in areas including trauma-informed therapy, somatic and nervous-system approaches, emotional regulation, self-compassion, shame based therapy, advanced grief therapy, parts therapy and the relationship between psychological and physical wellbeing.

My integrative approach has developed through more than a decade of therapeutic study, alongside extensive experience working with people in wellbeing-focused settings. This allows me to consider the whole person, rather than treating thoughts, emotions and physical responses as separate experiences.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, low self-worth, shame, overthinking, emotional disconnection, relationship difficulties and patterns of over-responsibility or perfectionism. I also support people navigating burnout, major life transitions and the effects of difficult or overwhelming past experiences.

I am a registered member of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Register (NCPR), and I undertake regular continuing professional development to keep my practice informed, ethical and responsive.
