First and foremost I am Mum to 3 beautiful boys and I live in West Sussex. I have a vast array of life experiences both professionally and personally, positive and challenging. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with a diverse range of clients, this includes working as a Counsellor in a local Sixth Form college supporting teenagers, as well as supporting adults, adolescents and children within the context of a counselling agency setting. I have a specialist interest in supporting anxiety, grief, loss and trauma but can help with a wide range of issues. I am also passionate about supporting the mental wellbeing of the more vulnerable in society, children/adults with special educational needs and disabilities and parent carers. Being a parent carer myself to a child with complex needs provides me with the skills, tools and knowledge to understand and empathise with both the rewards and stress that is inherent with this privileged but challenging role. I also offer lower cost counselling and discounts to anyone in receipt of benefits.  

I have a very warm and friendly nature and a deep passion for helping and supporting others. I am passionate about my work and through my commitment to continued personal and professional development I have developed a wide range of skills in working with both young people and adults. I work in a person centered way with an integrative/pluralistic approach, I will offer you a safe, confidential and trusted space to explore your issues and together we will find the style that best suits you, and I will adapt my approach and review our progress regularly to continue to meet your needs as an individual. 

I hold extra Diplomas in Advanced Awareness in Autism, ADHD, Child Counselling and Grief and Bereavement, all with Distinction and I am a qualified ADHD Coach. I work for a local charity that supports parent carers of children with Autism, ADHD and special educational needs and disabilities.
